When designing a public plaza all different stakeholders and visitors require to be taken into account. Each has their own requirements and all visitors experience the same from their own view.

Ground floor plan.

Three wings of 20 foot containers are placed. The left wing is for more higher end retail and food outlets, the central wing are for common amenities, such as a grocery store, while the right wing caters more economical retailers and food stalls. Two entrances to the plaza are place on the north size of the plaza.

First floor plan.

Two 40 foot containers are placed over the two entrances to create archways. The first floor has a lot of terrace space as spill over for the food outlets. Wooden decking provides a natural look to this terraces, as well as that it provides shade to the containers underneath.

A four feet wide board walk is provided along the containers with step up, as per ground levels.

Dedicated signage space is designed for each outlet.

On the first floor the wooden decking is taken up to created benches which also hide out door units of air conditioning and other services.

Two entrance port to the public plaza, created by placing a 40 foot container on top of the ground floor containers.

The plaza is designed to create space for various functions for the public. The steps to the first floor are used for seating and the stage is used for musical performances, all with the sunset over the sea as a backdrop.
