This exclusive international hotel chain for private members is situated at the beach of Juhu, Mumbai. The nine story building houses 38 boutique hotel rooms, various restaurants, a library, a health club, a lounge, ground floor lobby and a roof terrace with a pool. We designed, detailed, selected, coordinated and implemented most of the FF&E, such as the loose furniture, lights, rugs, curtains. We worked closely together with the in-house designers of Soho house based out of their headquarters in London.

The nine story building houses 38 boutique hotel rooms, various restaurants, a library, a health club, a lounge, ground floor lobby and a roof terrace with a pool. We designed, detailed, selected, coordinated and implemented most of the FF&E, such as the loose furniture, lights, rugs, curtains. The family living on the first two floors of this north-facing townhouse wanted a lot more daylight and a little more space for their home. By creating a new double-height glass addition spanning from ground to first floor and extending 1.5 m into the garden, we provided a ground-floor garden room, a large dining & kitchen area, an internal connection to the garden, an abundance of natural light, and even some direct sunlight. The roof of the extension is also of glass and caps this classic indoor winter garden. At ground level there are stairs leading from the greenhouse into the garden. This modest expansion more than doubled the value of the property.
Entering a consulate should give visitors the feeling of being welcomed in a country. The design for the entrance of the Dutch Consulate in Mumbai aims to do just that. The traditional Dutch transparency was our guideline to an open and light spatial design with various Dutch references. In Dutch offices, hallways are often used as informal meeting spaces, hence two custom made meeting tables which extend into tall sleek wall panels, form the centre of the space.
Old school new building! With the need for expansion, LFIM decided to move to a bigger space with better facilities. As the first ones to get in the space, Architectural consultancy was also a part of design process. All the entries, play areas, including some of the façade features, like the double height cut-out overlooking kid’s play area underneath, were proposed by us. Coordinating outside with the inside and bringing in the atmosphere of a school was one of the base thought behind all the design decisions.
In a well known South Mumbai corporate tower, we designed and build this office interiors for our Spanish client, along the lines of their existing corporate house style. The office overlooks the Back Bay on Mumbai, which led us to place the board room and the Managing Director’s cabin such that both have a stunning sea view.
